Link here to the information.
Experience Level: Master Class: You must have an Advanced Dollmaker skill level to create this doll.
Class Description: 3 -Day Class
Join Leslie in creating this cloth doll inspired from the 18th century Regency Period German carved “tuck comb” wood versions.
In this class, Leslie has taken the wood version and translated it into cloth. You will learn to create a three dimensional needle-sculpted face all in cloth painting the dainty face with brightly rouged cheeks. Painted hair has a bun and many curls softly framing her face. A tuck comb is nestled in the back of the bun.
The body shape design itself is unique and created to mimic a wood sculpted doll with simply jointed arms and legs. Piecing the fabric creates the undergarment trimmed in delicate lace.
Costume is of white linen so desired during this period in history. A matching bonnet tops of this graceful doll. Undergarment “drawers” have pleated hemline edges.
Issy getting into making of Amelia!
